Species from the genus Campomanesia have been studied due to their biological activity and low toxicity. However, studies on fruit peel of these species are scarce. In this context, effects ethanol extract sessiliflora (O. Berg) Mattos (CS) guazumifolia (Cambess) O. Berg (CG) were evaluated concerning effect germination meristem cells roots Allium cepa. The CG ethanolic showed flavonoid compounds higher than CS extract. no antioxidant activity. greater antiproliferative with reduced root size in A. cepa seeds. two extracts did not induce mutagenicity cell death at concentration 1 mg mL-1.
